"I created Bobby thinking back to the ESL student I was in the late '90s. I know the anxiety of a child who moves to a new country — a completely new ecosystem — with all that pressure. I suffered anxiety attacks, bullying, and low self-esteem.
That's why I created Bobby with every tool children need to truly integrate and be happy."

Bobby openly talks about stage fright and stress — and shows children breathing techniques and mindfulness practices to manage them. Real tools, taught through stories.

Bobby's world is full of stories that teach children — through real situations — that bullying is never okay. Bobby's cousin June has Down syndrome: she's never announced, just part of the world, the way real inclusion works. And she's just one of many characters and storylines that show children how to stand up for others, welcome differences, and build genuine friendships.

Bobby Rainbow has original songs produced specifically for the program. New music is released regularly as the curriculum grows — because children remember language best when it comes with a melody they love

Each ELL student logs in with their own username and institutional email. Units unlock sequentially as they pass each mastery assessment (80% minimum). A student in 6th grade can move at their own pace — completing A1 in 2 months while a 3rd grader takes 4. No whole-class lockstep. No teacher-led grammar lectures.
Your staff role: ensure headphones are available, the device is ready, and the student is logged in. Bobby Rainbow handles the rest — instructions, feedback, progress tracking, and the learning itself.
*This replaces outdated, grammar-focused ESL modules with a modern, self-guided approach that respects individual learning pace while building English and emotional resilience simultaneously.*

Bobby Rainbow follows evidence-based language acquisition frameworks, but your students will never see the technical terminology. There's no "third person singular" or "present progressive tense." Instead, concepts become concrete and memorable — verb conjugation is "the superpower of the 's,'" and tenses are about what's happening now, what happened before, and what's coming next.
This approach keeps children engaged and reduces the frustration that makes ELL students shut down. Grammar is learned naturally, the way children actually acquire language — through stories, context, and discovery.

Many Hispanic children in U.S. schools today arrive carrying anxiety, grief, and the weight of displacement. They don't need a tougher curriculum. They need a space where learning feels safe, and where the stories teach them that what they're feeling is normal — and manageable. Bobby Rainbow was built from that lived experience. Not theory. Real memory.
Grandfather of Cayetana, age 7

"I'm Cayetana's grandfather. It makes me so happy to see how enthusiastically she waits for her English class. She says they're wonderful."
Dad of Mateo, age 7

"My son loves the closeness of the classes. The platform is creative and fun, and the music keeps him happy and motivated to learn every day."
Mom of Martina, age 8

"We never imagined our daughter would get motivated by virtual learning — but she is genuinely excited. We see her learning every day."

If your school serves English Learner (EL) students, your district most likely already has access to Title III, Part A funds — the federal program specifically created to finance English language instruction programs for EL and immigrant students. These funds can be used expressly to purchase web-based subscriptions and digital programs that supplement your school's existing ESL resources.
Bobby Rainbow checks every box: it's a supplemental digital English instruction program, aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), designed specifically for Spanish-speaking elementary students.
The process is straightforward: contact your district's Title III Coordinator, let them know you'd like to acquire a CEFR-aligned supplemental digital English program, and request that Bobby Rainbow be included in next school year's Title III budget. Keep in mind that Title III funds must be used to supplement — never replace — existing federal, state, and local funds already supporting your EL students.
